Major project ARIANE 6 successfully completed

In May 2019, the large-scale project ARIANE 6 for the space center Korou, which was awarded to IMC in 2016, was successfully completed.

The project consisted of steel construction design for a total of 6,800 tonnes of steel construction for the pre-assembly hall, the mobile assembly hall and the launch tower for the Ariane 6 orbital launch vehicle on the site of the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana.

The scope of services included the creation of the connection statics and the workshop drawings.

The workshop plans and the statics were handed over in German and French.
