Experiencing hot galvanisation live

On Nov. 11th 2014, 10 employees of the IMC Planungsgesellschaft mbH as well as colleagues of the subsidiaries from Belarus and Ukraine, who at that time stayed in Leipzig for on-the-job training, toured the Grand Galvanising Plant of the Voigt & Schweitzer group in Landsberg near Halle.
They had the opportunity to participate in a guided tour through the entire plant and became acquainted with the entire cycle of a structural steel product through the production site.
Rather impressive was the enormous dipping bath filled with 650 tons of 450°C hot, liquid zinc, in which components up to 25m (double immersion) are galvanised.
